Archeo Distillery District Wedding | Katie & Omar

Katie and Omar’s Archeo Wedding in Toronto’s Distillery District was elegant, laid back, and intimate — exactly the way they wanted it. Believe it or not, this was actually Katie and Omar’s third wedding celebration! Katie and Omar met many years ago at The University of Toronto, and While Katie is from the GTA, Omar is actually from the U.S.. Katie and Omar are now settled in Washington, DC but Omar’s parents are in Egypt! So, after getting engaged, K&O had a civil ceremony in The States, a wedding celebration with Omar’s family in Cairo, and finally, their wedding here in Toronto. And what a way to cap it all off! Katie and Omar had friends travel from all over the world, including the UK and The States, to witness their final wedding celebration and there was so much excitement for these two in the air!

Katie chose the prettiest combination of dresses for her bridesmaids. I love the way the pale blue pops on the orange brick of The Distillery District. And the ladies’ gorgeous bouquets by Coriander Girl are seriously stunning!! Although Katie was planning from The States, every aspect of this wedding day came together so perfectly — from Katie’s sparkly rose gold shoes and and stunning Hayley Paige gown, right down to the drop-dead-gorgeous floral installation in the reception space. Despite this May’s crazy windstorm (that knocked out power, trees, and even street lights in the GTA), their day went off without a hitch! That’s right, gale force winds were no match for K&O! And I mean, can’t we all appreciate the way the wind gusts are giving Katie’s hair a real Beyonce-vibe?

Big, giant thank you to all the vendors who brought this gorgeous day and vision to life!! And a special shout out to my amazing second shooter Ally.
